The graffiti I see is about 90% tags. Then about 9% obscene images and messages. Which leaves about 1% that looks like it actually took some skill to do.

But the guillotine was invented to be as humane a way as possible of carrying out capital punishment. I don't think you could argue that more people were killed because the guillotine was invented, and I'd say that those who were killed with it suffered less than they might otherwise have done. (I am not in favour of capital punishment by the way, but if it's going to happen, the guillotine seems a damn sight more humane than the electric chair, or lethal injection).
