I must clarify that the former Archbishop's interlocutor was not me nor was I there.

However, Sainsburys is a strange place. I must go more often.

I would think that 10 years in Parliament and dealing with blocs of bishops from Africa, South East Asia, America (coastal and bible belt), India as well as the various factions in the UK would make a Game of Thrones look like a documentary.

That was breathtaking: the only way to do it justice would be with a blow-by-blow account of everything that happened in the episode:

I didn't expect Charles Dance to cut loose like that. We've seen Tywin so measured, so controlled, almost nice on occasions with Arya, so it was a bit of a shock to see him really unleash on Tyrion. It's one of the moments in the book that just stop you and I was impressed they translated that to the screen.

How is it that all the Lannisters are so perfectly cast? Each of them makes you believe the part was written for them and them alone. The casting in the whole series has been great but with the Lannisters its especially good. Makes you realise just how talented Maisie Williams is when she's able to hold her own against someone like Dance.

Not seen the episode yet - but I just wanted to repeat the love for Maisie Williams, with specific reference to a single line from the awesome "Seven Devils" trailer for season two. It was spine tingling enough when, close to the climax of trailer, and out of context, you get her saying "Anyone can be killed." The effect was multiplied by about a thousand when you see it in context, delivered unblinking into the face of Tywin Lannister. Acting Charles Dance off the screen ftmfw!

If anyone is really spoiler-phobic and has bought the S2 DVD boxset, they'll want to avoid listening to commentaries as some of them give away fairly big spoilers for S3.

If you're not spoiler-phobic, listen to them because they're brilliant.

I can't wait for episode 2. I wonder how long we'll have to wait for *that* scene? I hear it's going to be a showstopper!

Awwww man....

That was just so unfeasably awesome in every respect. Every minute, of every scene was dynamite.

Loved Grandma Tyrell. Arya was amazing. The Sam stuff was perfectly judged. Jofre is the bestest "love to hateā„¢" character ever to feature on TV. And a million and one other good things.

Game of Thrones is so good it makes all other TV unwatchably bad in comparison.

Heck I am even starting to like Shay.

Dennis Pennis was marvellous too. Ahhh... there was just so much flipping brilliant stuff I don't think I have properly disgested it yet.

Once again though it is making me wish my life away!!!
