Still Incognitas, Still Chairthingy, Still lurking, Still invisible, unnoticeable, missable, unseen, just haunting h2g2

I have two cataracts.

My only problem with the front page in Brunel at present are the sections on the black background in yellow font which are Life, the Universe and Everything on the right hand side. The problem is that the lines are too closely spaced together.

There is no bleeding and the yellow fonts on black are fine elsewhere on the page.

I prefer at present black type on white for true clarity.I also prefer dark blue or dark purple on white.Green and red bleed into white(or black)background. And for obvious reasons no one should EVER use yellow on white or pastels on white..Speaking as a visual artist that is. smiley - smiley

What doesn't work very well is yellow font on lavender which is on the present front page header

I wear reading glasses and for me the bottom left hand corner of all the squares are practically unreadable - to the extent I can't tell you the numbers on them.

As a sentient being I use Alabaster.

Curious isn't it how many in this thread
have made that same mistake. It's as if
in the consideration of colour, contrast and
depth perception there is an unconscious
left/right reversal when trying to express
ideas about our internal perceptions.

It must be a left brain/right brain thing that has
something to do with perception versus expression.

The bio-psycho-neuro-physiologists among us
must be slathering at this phenom. I know I am,
and I have no qualifications other than my own
anecdotal observational experience.
