"you might as well do Tom Waits."
It was coming, ~ jwf ~ , it was coming. Just a question of which track to choose.
Magwitch, [Unsuitable/Broken URL removed by Moderator] brings up the following message. 'The URL contained a malformed video ID' (a bit like mine, I suppose ). Would you mind reposting, or giving us the details?

Rudest Elf,
Thank you for the welcome, & even at my advanced years, I can see Coldplay is a plague to rock (Currently, I'm getting ready for the sh*tstorm of critisism for that comment).
Musically, I have no disagreement, but affectively, they suck. They are alternative of the softest kind, no hard edges in sight.
Rock for me = Rolling Stones, & Tom Waits Bloody rocks - whatever the album - especially 'Whistling Past the Graveyard'. Although his best album is 'Rain Dogs'.

I might be tempted to see L'Arc~en~Ciel when they play London in 2012. That's if I can get (and afford) tickets before they sell out.
