I met God yesterday ... he's not too bad, but his sense of humour's a bit off.

This is blasphmy -
What about the parable about the and a thousand loaves?
That was a miracle if ever I saw one.

If you believe Benjamin Creme, he's alive and well and living in Brick Lane, London...

- I talk to God, but the sky is empty, -
I don't really care where he lives. He's not doing a very impressive job here, though...

Wheh mankoid, you must sure be old if you saw the miracle with the fish and the leaves Actually, if it happened it would be a miracle, but firstly how about finding any evidence to show it ever happened?
We solved the thing about the heavy rock in philosophy class. We simply came to the conclusion that he could crush it into smaller pieces and lift those instead And the reason why we haven´t really seen God much around is because he´s busy trying to crush the stone.

I know that I wouldn't make a very good god. Very early on as a resarcher I spent a brief period as a harbinger of death, namely one of the Four Cyclists of the Apocalypse (in fact, number 4). It was just a phase I was going through.

# Why do so many people believe in God?
Is there something I'm missing here

People believe in God for many reasons:
1) They are easily lead
2) They are in a deluded state of mind
3) Many were taught the doctrines of a religion from an early age and were never informed that it is just a belief and not truth (some would call that brainwashing)
4) They fear their own mortality therefore grasp onto the notion of a mystical force that will insure their immortality.
