It would depend on what kind of tree it was. I think an oak would be fairly noisy, but a willow might be inaudible.

But I think a willow would swish audibly. An oak would creak. Or maybe groan. Probably groan, about how "life hasn't been the same since that tedious old git Burke hijacked us".
