In the book "The Art of Happiness" written with the corporation of the Dalai lama, it is said that to be happy you must take stock of your life and get rid of the bad things (hate, jealousy, envy,...) and cultivate the good things (love, kindness, charity,...).

I still working on happiness.

I don't think you can "work" at it. It just happens. Perhaps that's where the word comes from.

So happiness is like a butterfly, when pursued it is always just out of reach. But if you sit down quietly, it might, perhaps land on you.

It makes me happy that I was able to give you a laugh and a little happiness.

Maybe that's the best thing in life. Bringing a little happiness and joy to someones life. Maybe if people smiled at others a little more or if we gentlemen held a door open for a lady a little more often, just maybe the world would be a nicer place.

If they start screaming male chauvinist insults at you for holding the door open for you they're no lady, and are not worthy to be in your presents. So, squash them like a bug.

I still say that being a little joy into someone’s life is the best thing in the world, even if they don't appreciate it.

OK, bring joy to unappercative jerk isn't the best thing. So maybe we should round them all up and terminate them. At least it would get them out of our hair.
