I'm sure it would have just dried out if it had gone in the loo...

I haven't dropped a mobile phone down the loo, but my son did drop his DS lite down the loo. On Christmas Day, two hours after opening the box. I left it to dry on two towels but it still didn't work. Guess what we did in a packed shop on Boxing Day

I put my mobile on top of the car while we were loading in the kids et cetera. And then forgot about it and drove off. I then saw the phone in the rear view mirror, as it bounced off the car, onto the road, and converted itself into an interesting 3D jigsaw.

We managed to save the SIM though so I was able to transfer all the numbers to my new phone.

the phone i have now i have had for four years...
i dropped it in the toilet (clean water) twice...
two different occasions

and i dropped it once in a glass of beer...

all three times i fished it out... took off the battery and wiped it all off and laid it open in the sun...

er, is it too early to exchange experiences about dropping dentures

yes, at least three or four decades too early from my point of view!

i have a friend who got full dentures when she was 22
she'd have gotten implants but they still are too expensive i guess

i wish she had gotten dentures - the thought of dropping...

don't even go there!
