I mentioned the new A57439849 at the top of the last page. Now I've got something new to add to it--the next person whose researcher number I checked ties in with what happened with the last thing I checked.smiley - biggrin

I actually wish I and other people had not driven what we have considered a 'troll' totally off this site. If anybody has been waiting for a new Entry from me, I apologize for not having worked on it as promised. I swear, just give me through the next weekend. [Perhaps this popping up again will have the desired reaction.]

I will be putting a quickly written sketch up gradually over the next five hours as an Entry titled 'Strange Numerology: My Weird Arithmetical Leap and Some of Its Related Subjects'. This notice is for anybody who wants in on the process as it moves forward.

It's quite clear my sketch will not be completed today either, as I've chosen to stare off into space most of the night here in the USA (my Phillies are going to lose the World Series for sure nowsmiley - wah) and I have a commitment to carefully review some fairly technical things written by a hootoo mathematiciansmiley - geek. People who want to see what I have so far written can click on A59169081. There is nothing absolutely new to hootoo there yet, though, so for that you will probably have a little wait. I'm expecting to be free for that all day Thursday. smiley - sorry

This is spooky; maybe the shadow can be explained but it's marble and how come it looks bruised and battered. Not like fish and chips.

I can't form an opinion on that without having been in the room at the time (or knowing someone who was even). So, how are things going with you, my mathematician-whose-researcher-number-including-the-U-is-prime-in-base-42 friend?

I'm ok, the problem is I'm as blind as a bat in a dark room, and I can't see anything.

It is only when I get the image back to my pc that I see it properly.

It might be painted but I don't think so; I've got some more images of the same with bright blue streaks down the statue as if it were illuminated; but it isn't.

Well, I'm in a position to at least bear witness to your own position, though I feel that I won't get much agreement. I believe your photographic experiences to have significance (That is to say that I think you are smart, rational and honest). I could easily be fooled by a dishonest person, but I have no reason not to give you the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, what you have is not evidence to the scientist in me for anything beyond my expression of belief (and your own reported amazement).

On the other hand, you may be able to get a good forensics lab with time off to verify in some way that nothing about the photos at least was doctored, so you may have something significant. It would have no clear *meaning*, but it would then rise to a level of some sort of significance (to repeat the word).

Weell, it is HDR (High Dynamic Range) Julzes. Which means it is doctored otherwise it wouldn't be HDR. I think it was too dark for me to see properly and it really is painted with bruises.

I hear the guides start by saying 'this is a really sad story'; and maybe I should listen in.

I was looking to you to either get more evidence or confess, so my approach was sound. This thread doesn't get much attention in my opinion.smiley - biggrin

PAL: The destruction and looting of antiquities is important, but it's not really what this thread is about. On the other hand, this thread could be partially about the destructive means people use in supporting supernatural claims that aren't true--and perhaps some that are.

I'm continuing adding to the entry mentioned above.

I'm creating a part two Entry. There is still a lot to fill in, but I thought that I reached a good transition point and that I would spread things out over more entries. It shouldn't be taking so long, but I'm constantly pre-occupied. First Saturday chess will see me gone for the day, tomorrow I need to go to the library for a good part of the day, and so on. I'll still be doing this as I can make the time. It shouldn't be long--really!--before these Entries are done.

Queeglesproggit - Keeper of the evil Thingite Avon Lady Army and Mary Poppins's bag of darkness..

If it happens to enough people shouldn't anything automatically be 'natural', as opposed to 'super' natural. Which I define the same way as super anything else. Super-heros can do things the average person can't. Super-natural is anything which occurs which appears to be a talent not available to the average person/thing/setting.

Regarding specifically the first post mentioning prophetic dreams:
This happens to me an awful lot. I don't remember the dream until it actually happens in real life. It'll just be quite everyday things. E.g. I'll be chatting to someone I've been working with for a while, then remember the dream where this situation happens, only of course in the dream they were a stranger, as I hadn't met them yet in real life.

The most annoying one was when I was working in a shop in a job I was bored with, I'd had a dream that I was working there at Halloween and, when I was dreaming it, had been aware it may have been a prophetic one, and thought to myself "if this does come true and I'm still working there at Halloween that'll be really depressing".
Of course I didn't remember the dream until that particular situation happened, but then remembered what I'd thought during the dream and it put a huge dampener on the day! smiley - laugh Left that job not long after. smiley - run

smiley - popcorn

Because it happens so often I'd become quite concerned with the concept of fate. If I was dreaming all these things which then happen, does it mean everything is planned out for us and we're just following a path, which to me, is pretty depressing.smiley - sadface

However, after a bit of pondering my concern was allayed. I like to think that, as (thus far) I only remember these dreams when they happen, I could be dreaming of many hundreds/thousands of different futures, many of which don't happen, due to whichever choices I make in life. This explanations fits, and is a far happier view of life for me.

The fact that I'm dreaming the future (be it the 'path' or many possibilities) in the first place, I don't think about too much, cuz it's a bit of a mind smiley - bleep. smiley - biggrin

Supernatural is things you can't explain; like this:

What is the blue lightening that doesn't reflect on anything else?

http://private.fotki.com/Arith/practice/ghostsmall-jpg.html

http://private.fotki.com/Arith/practice/ghost2-jpg.html

It isn't really blue and I think it must be some sort of laser. smiley - yikes
