Thing is, why did they have to make those sequels?
I mean, they are so bad it kinda reflects badly on the Matrix.... I wish I could erase them from my memory....

Yes , lots of great scenes in Amelie . One of my favourite movies . Not that I would admit to such a thing to my mates in the White Horse

Many scenes, of course. Most of them from classics like this one. Our drama teacher told us that it illustrates the concept of "transition". A difficult thing to achieve for an actor, that of changing your mood. Besides, the effects of it being in black and white, the music, the movement and perspectives of the camera create an unique atmosfere.
And the actors. Both of them transmit one of the most intensely erotic scene I´ve ever watched. It´s erotic because of what it suggests, what you can imagine out of that scene.
Look at her face expression, her hands touching his back... it´s fascinating:
