Well I still have a huge mountain of the stuff from when the Gruesomes were in nappies. We also use a boil wash, though, which probably contributes a lot to the whiteness.

Unfortunatly my chefs jacket is the only thing that can withstand a boil wash so it's a bit of a waste to just do that on a 90 degree wash

"The only super-duper cleaning product we use is the Vanish in wash stain removers, it's the only thing that will get my chef's jacket clean"
Oh no ... chef's *special* sauce making stains again ...

What I want to know is how certain brands of wash powder have "Intelligent" stain removers that "seek out" stains...?

Hard to have a food fight by yourself and as there's only me I'd have to clear it up
although I'm pretty sure the morning shift have food fights, by the state of the kitchen when I come in

I saw a post on the tube recently. It said:
Sure. It won t let you down.
It also kills apostrophes, apparently.

But, sigh, I found the apostrophes missing from that in a t-shirt printing shop in a country where they don't have a posessive apostrophe. But it's ok because it was being used incorrectly to indicate a plural. So probably that's ok? Isn't it?
OK, Aleksander Meerkat. Advertising stupidity, or total brilliance?

Very annoying. Did lots of people miss-type?

Annoying and you have to ask, WHY????

catatonicsleep Posted Apr 16, 2009
Is it actually highly probable to type that instead of market?

Cheerful Dragon Posted Apr 16, 2009
There's an ad that's mostly on digital UK channels like Dave or Virgin 1. It's for an service/application called GoToMyPC. In the ad a man is at a presentation and realises that the proposal is on his PC, back at the office. A flock of pigeons swoops down and collects the computer and monitor from the man's office and brings them to the place where they're holding the presentation. The man says, "Great, guys. But where's the keyboard?" This leads to the spiel about GoToMyPC.
My problem with the ad is this: it's not just the keyboard that's missing. There's no mouse and no cabling of any sort. OK, the keyboard may be wireless, but I've yet to encounter a true wireless monitor. Even if there is one, I doubt there are many battery operated PCs.
Basically, the man should have said, "Great, guys. But where's the rest of it?" Or, better still, got himself a laptop.

I love Aleksandr (apparently his name is Alexsandr Orlov). I'd love a toy Aleksandr, but I can't find a toy meerkat that looks as nice as him. It's hard to get a soft toy to stand up like he does, so they're all squatting on their haunches.

oh yes, a toy one with a little smoking jacket. I might just email him...
