I have a "Murder on the Dancefloor" ready to go, in Entry format.
I did email it to Shazz last week....should I give the link to someone else now?
Anything else I can assist with? ?

I've just got a load of submissions through Email, I take it they're for next week?
I got cartoons too, I have no idea what to do with them
And this will only be the second time I've done it so forgive if I ask some stupid questions running upto the deadline

I feel it is wrong to expect Shazz to do any work whilst recovering from surgery. Of course she will offer, she won't want to disappoint, The Post is her baby, she cares about it and it will be difficult for her not to get involved if people keep bothering her with email.
She may have stitches, she should be resting, making her get up and sit at her computer checking email is not on. Its easy to create a hotmail address, can no-one else on the post team do this?
I have decided that if no email is forthcoming, I shall create the entry myself. Of course after this rant, my stuff may never be needed again for the post, but ethically I cannot do this. I hope others agree that it is time to give Shazz a break and manage one or two posts without her.
Obviously Shazz may feel I am not on to say this and she maybe right, it is a bit personal, if so I am sorry. I just want Shazz to be allowed to recover without people continually expecting her to help. Her work is fantastic, we wouldn't have the post without her, but can't we give her a rest?

Already had feedback from the post team on this, and am very happy!
Long live The Post and get well soon Shazz.

I've sent itmes for the Post to The Post Team Personal Space, already Guide ML'd etc. Then it's just a matter of cut and paste for the Editor (who better not be Shazz)
Is everyone else sending formatted Guide ML pages to the Post Team or does someone want them sent by email?
Slightly confused what exactly is happening...

I agree, obviously, and I am trying to bother Shazz as little as possible - an alternate email address has been arranged (on Reefgirl's PS) and wherever possible I'm getting technical guidance off Italics rather than Shazz herself.
But Shazz has been doing things to help us out without being asked to, and seems well aware of the need not to overstrain herself. I am sure she would appreciate your concerns; I'm sure we all do. We're not mithering her constantly, I promise.

You probably all already know this, but it is still just about on-topic...
We're looking to do a Best Of The Post as a sort of summer special (and to save me having to do all the next issue myself). Rather than just rely on my own judgement (never wise) it would be great of people could think back and nominate favourite articles from the past. There's a journal entry in the Post Team's personal space where people are making their choices. Yes, you can nominate yourself if you like.
