As well as being Flavor Flav's finest recording what does it bring to mind for you.

Have you purchased an album, watched a film, read a book or rolled yourself down a hil?thrown yourslef from something high trusting those who told you it would be great and only felt greatly dissappointed.

What are the most over blown things you've tried.

Blues Shark - For people who like this sort of thing, then this is just the sort of thing they'll like

Strangely enough Northern Lights (the book) and The Exorcist would feature very highly on my list as well. Though I'd nominate New Found Glory or At The Drive In music wise.

'The Usual Suspects' I was lead to believe it was a cinematic tour de force, in reality I think it is pants. Twist, what twist? It is obvious who Kaiser Sosage is from the beginning.

Oh and the Lemon & Lime Pepsi, the idea and the advertising made me think it was going to be an amzing new taste sensation, in reality it is like ordinary fizzy pop that someone has squirted a bit of fairy into.

The Mousetrap - I was more impressed by the theatre than the OK play.

Nine and a half weeks.

I concur with The Exorcist - hilarious film.

Yeah its just about the smiley - fish, you could listen to "Chocolate girl" by Deacon Blue and *get* nearly everything that the film is trying to say in just four minutes. Its just a chick flick made extra saucy to attract boys. The fridge scene made me hungry, which I think dissappointed the woman who convinced me to watch it, but she soon cheered up when I suggested how I wanted to burn off the caloriessmiley - winkeye

Autolux

The end of 'Pattern Recognition' by William Gibson. The first four-fifths of it is utterly stunning, only for it to collapse into the crappiest Hollywood ending you can imagine. I was truly gutted.

Back in the day when I was a naughty boy who used to experiment "Jim Morrison" style; many of my pals encouraged me to try a bit of "Bolivia's Finest" saying it was awsome.

So I did, and it was rubbish, and expensive.

The Blair Witch Project.

I am a real scaredy cat when it comes to films, I jump out of my skin at the littlest thing. Emotionally I am as easily manipulated as they come (I cry whilst watching the Lion King, I cry watching adverts....it's tragic). I saw BWP at the cinema and thought it was complete tosh from beginning to end. I felt like writing to the makers to ask for my money back, and some compensation for wasting my time.

Everyone else in the cinema seemed to feel the same way, judging from the amount of boohs and hisses at the end.

I must say I admire the makers' chutzpah (which, having just done a quick google on BWP and chutzpah, I find others have done so too).

The other articles are probably more coherent than this mini-rant, but what a dreadfully dull movie.

Cheers all,

G

Black-Eyed Girl... Sometimes the only sane answer to an insane world is insanity!

Open Water.

Meant to be the scariest thing in a long while..... 2 people floating in the ocean for 65 minutes, the end sucks coz its too vague, you sit there going; "Well, what happened to them?"

If you're scared of water then this is the film for you, if you're looking for a Jaws style film, get in the bath and attack yourself with a rubber duck, I guarantee you'll be more scared than watching this.

Veet cold wax strips. Ok on your legs, not really painful but avoid the 'bikini and face' ones. Unless bleeding and having them refuse to come off is your thing. Plus, incredibly messy and hard to clean up after despite the little wipes they give you for this purpose. Oh, and lastingup to 3 weeks? 3 weeks my smiley - bleep try maybe one week if you're lucky.

Badgers.

Ok, they provide a quick and funny answer to most questions on here:

"What are you having for your evening meal?"
"Badgers"

"Whats your dog doing at the moment?"
"Badgers"

"What are you wearing?"
"Badgers"

But apart from that...oh, go on then, ignore this post. They are the greatest animalsmiley - bigeyes
