What personality trait would you change?
Beatrice Started conversation Apr 7, 2005
Had an interesting phone interview yesterday, and one of the questions that intrigued me was:
"What aspect of your personality would you like to change?"
"Hmmmm" I mused, "Well, I have been accused of being too over-analytical!"
"And why is that a problem?" said the interviewer
"Exactly!" I replied " though I guess it makes the other person feel a little uncomofrtable, and under interrogation"
So.....what personality trait would you change if you could?

I'd like to be more outgoing and a bit less of a loner.

I actually have two I'd like to change:
I want to be less easily distract... cool! Is that a new computer?
I want to be less shy in unfamiliar social settings.

I'd like to be less latharic and lazy and more drunk. and more high.
Seriously, though, looking at this question another way, I've heard of very* simular questions being asked to people in job intervies, along the lines of 'what is your weakest point,' type thing, to which I've a nice answer, 'My biggest fault is being a perfectionist,' etc etc., etc.,
I feel like going back to bed

I'm too shy and quiet.
When I do pluck up the courage say something, more than often it's either the wrong thing or the timing is so totally wrong it puts me a few squares behing square 1 and puts me in a bad light with the person I was talking to.
I'm too cynical.
I don't have that high an opinion of myself.
I take everything too seriously.

I do the same thing. Sometimes I just don't know what to say so say anything just to try and stop the awkwardness, but I'll have ended up saying "Bananas are being sold for half price in the market"
But I'll crack the conversation thingy one day, I'm just waiting for the banana buyers to come my way and then there'll be no more stilted conversations

Must remember that one, it sounds like a nice chatup line/icebreaker. Not that I normally pluck up the courage to use them mind

I've never really had many chat up lines. The ones that I've heard have been rubbish too
The chat up line I've heard is "Alright love?"
