Well, RTD confirmed in a Radio Times interview that they could fly, maybe that's what people are thinking of?

I saw a pic of a flying Dalek in my newspaper.
With the headline "Proof they can fly"
I won't believe it till I've seen it myself
This weeks upcoming episode - on another thread we're talking about the stretched piece of skin on a frame, with eyes and mouth and the voice of Zoe Wanamakerrather than the end of the
Hehehe. An inspired alien. I love sci-fi that makes me laugh.

Accordng to the bloke with the glasses [name escapes me] who is in charge of the writing "these daleks fly like ba****ds".

Edward the Bonobo - Gone. Posted Mar 30, 2005
>>The single most important TV event of my lifetime
Maaan, that's sad!
For me:
The most amusing moment - the look on Michael Portillo's face when he was defeated by Stephen Twigg in the '97 election.
Best TV moment ever:
Mandela walking out of jail.
(Followed soon after by his 'I am a loyal and disciplined member of the ANC' speech which agve notice that there would be no concessions in the fight http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/mod/1990MANDELA.html).

I thought the daleks had a kind of hovercraft thing which let them sort of float upstairs in the old show.
This time what with the new cgi and all its supposed to be much more dramatic

Didn't the glimpse of the Zoe Wanamaker piece remind you of the part she played in Red Dwarf as the mad scientist who had invented a drug to make her live forever or something! Please tell me I'm not mad, I'm sure I remember this.

You're really going for it, aren't you? Have you made it your mission to get all DW fans to get a sense of perspective? That might be a life long task, Sharky boy.

A fair point, as anyone who saw my reaction to the Hellboy movie and even the sniff of a prospect of an HBO Jonah Hex series, not to mention his imminent return to comics can tell you...
Besides, I wasn't actually saying that the alleged appearance by Miss Wanamaker in RD is too obscure for fans, but that databases are odd and sometimes miss the obscure appearances.
