I've met some people (online, not in real life, thank goodness) who think that all sins are equivalent. So mass rape and murder is equivalent to cheating a little on your tax returns is equivalent to homosexuality.

So the amount you hurt or help your fellow humans doesn't matter at all. All that matters is whether or not you offend God.

I would actually call this belief evil, which is not a word I use freely.

No, I think err is it KZ/WG?; is right on this one; I'm gay, queer, homosexual, bisexual, call it what you will, and violence definately definately goes hand in hand, - were I to meet someone who put these kind of views to me in person I'd be forced to break their nose.

I've tried VERY HARD to keep a respectful tone in here. I believe in free speech, but there are limits to my tolerance... and I admit I have difficulties with religious fanatics, regardless of "faith".

The idea that 2legs would, after a damn good talking to, turn into something other than the somwhat unique person he is is somwhat unbelievable. The idea that 2legs would no longer grace this place with his, to say the least, unique style of posting is somewhat disturbing.

Some people are nice some of the time. Some nice people are horrible slightly, some nice people are sometimes very horrible, but most horrible things seem to be done in the name of some (to them), over-powering ethod, or set of ideals locked in time or place, or by idology or some querk of history. Those are the worse, they arn't compatible by reason, logical explination and reason, as they don't stand up to reason and debate, they're not necessarily religious in origion (though many are), And can be more, or less nasty depending on the extremitys those who adop the flawed acceptance of the ethos accept...
As much as I hate to say it, it'd be nice somtimes if people were more like hippies in just getting on with getting on with each other. jah love.
