Any interesting Valentines plans?

Never used to bother with it much myself, not being the type when I was at school to get any cards (ah boo hoo for me ). Mind you I suppose I did send the odd one or two.
My husband and I just about managed a card just in case either of us was upset if we didn't receive one. Both of us always forgot our wedding anniversary. Oops
Anyway what about you guys....anything planned for the 14th?
Ice.

I'm baffled... every other Valentine's day in my life I've been completely single - this one I'm engaged! I've never received a Valentine's card in my life! Also, I think the whole idea of Valentine's day is overly materialistic and commercialised, if I do anything for my fiance it mustn't involve buying tacky stuff or doing anything cheesy!

I'll be taking my car to the garage for its pre Controle Technique check.
If I can drive - I'll just have had my eyes lasered.

We are treating it as an excuse to try out the new curry house that has just opened in our village, although we'll be going on saturday rather than monday so that we can have a drink with it (don't drink on school nights). I'm in two minds - the extra calories will b*gger my diet for the week but I've heard good things about the place and don't want to have 'just a tandoori chicken breast and some salad please'.
Will make my fiance a card for monday and maybe get him a CD I've been wanting for a while

Well you do seem to be making him a very happy (if not less angry) man

Well being a bachelor I decided to go up to Brizzle and watch a new band called the Bravery. Should be a laugh, but as I have work on tuesday I am going to have to stay sober and drive back after the gig

Is there no one you would like to send a card to Ferrett?
Even a joke one?

Last year I took my girlfriend out for a meal. I was gonna cook her one myself but was too hungover and then spent half the day phoning round trying to find a restaurant with a free booking.
This year I am single. There is one girl I wouldnt mind sending a valentines day card to, but shes gonna be in Italy, and anyway, I dont know her address. And we're gonna be going out on a date when she gets back anyway.
The other two girls Ive pulled recently Ive got to make sure theyre out of the picture by then. Dont want them getting the wrong idea and thinking there might be a relationship in it...
So to answer the question of what Ill be doing on Valentines day, probably going down town and preying on the lonely girls.
Cos Im evil.

I plan to spend Valentines Day being extremely busy, cuddling up with my loved one on the settee, playing with their hair
Unfortunately, I'll be extremely busy because I'll be at work, where they pay me way too little for the amount of crap that I do and the loved one I'll be cuddling is my cat, who will probably scratch me for pissing her off
