It's their defence: "A dead person you cannot carry to Germany, there are too many people checking and security. How can you bring a dead person to Germany?" that bemused me, along with the fact that the taxi driver apparently didn't notice that one of his passengers was supposedly dead. Maybe he even helped the ladies by half-carrying the old guy to the airport doors... although on second thoughts, a helpful taxi driver is rarer than a dead body on a non-crashed plane.
