Has James Bond ever been injured in one of his films? I was just reading one of those movie cliches sites that pointed out -quite rightly - that most heroes in action flicks pick up an injury of some sort (often they got shot in one arm) near the end and wondered if this is applicable to Jimbo.

He gets quite sweaty, which causes his hair to get greasy. I saw an out-take of this happening, I think it was Roger Moore as Jimmy, his hair got greasy, so he went to the bathroom to wash it. Got shampoo in his eye and had to take a couple of days off until he got rid of the red-eye.

In one of the later Pierce Brosnan Bonds he is seriously beaten up at the start when he's held captive by some Asian despot. I think they even have him go through rehab.

And I'm fairly sure all the rest have him pick up some flesh wound from bullets and spearguns near the end that some Bond girl usually mends.

He gets scorpion bitten in Die Another Day.

...In the books he gets messed up loads. In Casino Royale he gets his b*****k bag split open with a carpet beater and in Live and Let die he gets his finger pulled back until it snaps!
