Gherkin and his significant other Piccalilli surveyed the scene of devastaion. A mushroom cloud of ..err musrooms... lurked above the carnage. How had they survived the war. It seemed as if they were the only picklekind left in the entire veggiverse. Maybe that time long ago when he'd been tortured by the mad scientist had some how made him immune to the high levels of vinegaractivity. He held Piccalilli close. What next he wondered.....
