Oi, did anyone read my post 160 - it was right at the bottom of the screen - or is it just that everyone is enjoying their pickles too much at present?

My daily planner has trivia bits in it and I was reading ahead. This is the bit for Sept. 28:
"When the snapping shrimp snaps its huge claw shut, a bubble shoots out. The bubble's pop is extremely loud and generates a bright flash of light, which scientists have called 'shrimpoluminescence'." (source: Cranium inserts for Franklin Covey Daily Planner)

This must be a specialised form of 'triboluminescence' (due to friction) which I've mentioned elsewhere. I initially thought 'static electricity' but this would be nonsence coz the shrimp is in water- and the bubbles are wet anyway
