"I want to get '50 first dates' for tonite"
For a minute there I thought you meant something you were doing on h2 . I mean I know you post alot, and your nickname has *with--go--faster--stripes* in it, but still...
Is it a movie then?
I looked at the paper today and couldn't recognise any of the movies on at the cinema. Made me wonder what planet I am on

I'm trying to make myself go to bed - boiling the hottie water.
It's quiet on h2 - do you think all the Brits snuck away from work early on a Friday afternoon?
Whereabouts are you Noggin?

For those involved, I s'pose.
*Our* important game was yesterday, though.
It's the Euro championships.

hi kea, Noggin, et al,
I've just finished my last class of the week and am enjoying the lovely feeling of not having to explain the present perfect to anyone again until Monday morning.
Noggin, the English fans have been getting horrible press (big surprise) - quite a few have been arrested and have been sent back to England and at one point they said they were considering withdrawing the English team from the championships because of this.
What *is* it about English football fans???

If they took out rolled carpets and buried them Noggin, I wouldn't know..I came home, and they had finised what they were doing and covered it with concrete
The imagery reminds of that movie 'Shallow Grave'
Kea! '50 first dates' is a movie with Adam Sandler in it, the girl loses her memory everytime she goes to sleep...its a comedy. I really don't quite know what YOU were thinking, *tsk tsk, chuckles*
Right now, I'm cooling off in front of the a/c, whilst the G-force is munching sloppy joes, and catching up on my posts and e-mails. Going to go and finish Jules Verne - Journey to the Centre of the Earth, after I have finished on here

Well, as it goes, my youngest brother studied archaeology for a while, and about ten years ago the department where he was studying was asked by the police to help them dig up the garden of a man whose wife had gone missing a number of years previously. They found the body encased in concrete in an oil drum. So you never know.

And I don't know what it is about English football fans (some of them anyway), but I suspect too much booze under a hot sun has something to do with it.

Indeed not.
So if you ever have any bodies to dispose of just ask...someone else.

Mine won't work either! (Yes, I'm bored - why else would I put on a glove just to see what happens?)

ok, but you can't be as bored as I am, in continuing with this topic
What kind of gloves were they? Mine were leather (which you would think would work).

Nice.
I just tried a large ply knitted wool glove and it worked way better than the leather, but still not well enough. Have now found some fingerless gloves that should do the trick
The Bill's on shortly
