Mina has written a very nice entry on deterring slugs.
I'm chasing Unc on the most posts list on the Info page. And losing
Time for a tactical retreat and some methinks.

I've just finished painting two rooms in my flat next door and am now awaiting the arrival of Blues Shark and Strangelittlegirl who are coming to stay for two weeks (yay!) Had a little accident and ended up covered in paint - aaarrgh. All over my face and in my hair. Hope I can get it out.
I reckon tomorrow almost every part of my body is going to ache something fierce.

I was right - *everything* hurts!
But the company is lovely.
Blues was here last summer but this is the first time I've met SLG. We had a nice time out having tapas last night. And now I am on my way out for brekky with them and a bit of shopping...soon...

Just back from shopping and need to just do a lot of nuthin for awhile.

Who needs friends when you've got h2?
I've just lit the fire as it's morosly cold here this morning.
I'm listening to National radio where they are talking about giving out condoms to 17 year olds going to School Balls. They also gave out advice on how to say no.

So monumentally annoyed...bought a recharge card on Saturday night...and not only did it not work, it dodged up my phone so I couldn't get another recharge card...after being on hold for half a bl**dy hour I'm told to try it again tomorrow...which means 4 days out of the loop...
...how's that for service ??

god save us from phone companies----i know the feeling
tried to speak with an earling from bt when i finally got one she cut me off when trying to transfer call i thought me brain was going to explode son pointed out you need one to be able to do such trick
it took me 30 mins in the end to speak to someone only to be told i didnt need to call them wrong info from another phone company arggggggh
pleasebring back the system where you picked up the phone and spoke with someone which i believe that was what the bell guy designed it for i am sure he would ring in his grave if he new what doesnt happen now.
feel that i should treet the phone the same as my deseased mobile hammered to death on the front step with the wood axe oh the satisfaction but wouldnt have internet connection so could rant on like this
big moan for the day full of unusual negativity better tommorrow

Thinking that I should do all sorts of things this week that are constructive...and making mental lists of what I should and then probably procrastinate and do something else and plan to do it next week...
Repair pool is something I should do, it keeps the 5 yr old soon to 6 yr old next week, happy and in his water play pen... It has a miniscle hole in the side..if I do it now it can be drying ready for tomorrow...

Waiting for my two year old to wake up from a super-nap so we can go swimming. Does he not know I've been looking forward to this all day!
