Have just survived my second Scottish Researchers meet-up. What a good laugh, lots of and s, hugs and much fun!

Met more nice people and it is good to put faces to names! H2g2 has done that for me - introduced me to people I wouldn't otherwise get the chance to meet

I'd like to go to a meet......

Well, Luthiena, your best bet is to organise one yourself. There's plenty of researchers in your area. You could try this...

Start a new thread to publicise it.

Create a guide entry where people can sign up.

Put an advertisement in The Post.

I'm sure more experienced people will help you with this...

You attended an SRG meet and you advise safety! Still, I suppose that could come under the heading of learning from your own mistakes.

I like how we are in a small way actors in a RL life play about the books of DAdams.

I like how you can learn a persons style almost as well as their "voice" and recognise them. I see only subject titles and know who they are sometimes. I miss viewing the name on a long post but guess who it is before checking.

I like the common incidences of synchronicity.

I like how you can find somebody to answer about any question.

I like how it is available 24 hrs a day

I like how you can add to a conversation after days.

I like how I change my mind sometimes after reading another viewpoint.

I like how it's another place to learn something new everyday.

I like cheese and pickle sandwiches...with a can of coke

I like unexpected humour from unexpected places by unexpected people

I like the way we make true friends ,and can debate rathr than argue.Been in h2 is like living in the best street in the world,and having the best neighbours!!
