What's the group going to do? There's only so many newbies...

Now one really useful thing to do would be to get newbies writing entries. I remember feeling really, really good when I got my entries to the front page. And now is a brilliant time, since there's a better chance than ever of being the article chosen for the picture on the frontpage!

Also it would be great to see some new people talking in PR, since it's *Peer* review, it really helps to have lots of the site's users commenting, not just a select few. It also helps entries get picked (imho as a <./>scout</.&gt if there's lots of discussion, rather than just a few posts from old hands.

Scott: sorry, but I've been gentle as long as I care to be with regards to this situation. Your friend Liam has pushed this group idea way too far, for too long, and with a lot of dishonesty. He apologized, and I applaud him for that. But then he went right back to form, changing names and pushing HIS group. If he wants to help, his best option right now is to back off and lay low for a while.

Just my opinion, mind you. I'm in no way a representative of Hootoo. But I am a (very irate) member of this community! I WILL speak my mind on this issue, whether it's a popular opinion or not.

I'm sorry we disagree on this point, Scott, but this has nothing to do with a friendship between you and I. This concerns a situation which I no longer choose to tolerate. If you feel that you need to break contact with me to support Liam, do what you have to do.

This is not a personal issue, it's a question of what behavior is acceptable and beneficial for the Hootoo community.
