That eider pun sure has some power. I cracked it and killed the thread for nearly a day, 2legs cracks it and kills the thread for 5 hrs. Could this be a pun of mass destruction? Kinda the dirty bomb equivalent of Monty Pythons Funniest joke sketch?

I was thinking, ya know, about the eiderdown pun. Cos when I was a kid you would refer to an eiderdown or eiderdown quilt but now? Never hear of them.
Sorry, I'll stop ducking the issue.
It is quite possibly because once one has been introduced to the intellectual gladitorial combat that is a pun competition, the word duck instantly sparks of the requisite thoughts. Same as 'fish' and 'tree'.
It is a consequence of elevated intellectual ability that one is no longer able to view such words without making some sort of witty word play.
Or it could be that we are all sad losers with nowt else to do.
eider way, teal someone comes up with something better to do I goose I'll be terning the pages here.
