2-legs,
So, are you saying that life isn't a bowl of cherry tomatoes?
Btw, round tomatoes also grow in fields and gardens, not only in green houses. And why are they called 'plum' tomatoes if they are meant to be a vegetable? eh? eh?

Hi-ya az
Plumb tomatoes are Plumb shaped. and are one of the most commercially grown tomatoes crops. round tomatoes are a specialist crop and are called fruit
thing of cooking apples and eating apples

hi A Dent,
Plumb tomatoes are oval shaped. And yes, they are mostly used for sauces. But so are round tomatoes, depending on the variety. Hmmm, where exactly did you dig up this info that plumb tomatoes are considered vegetables?
az
ps
I downloaded Incredimail but couldn't get it to work properly. So I finally uninstalled it and went back to Outlook.

Hi-ya az
Transport Shipping logs from a tomatoes farm, I did some work for. fruit tomatoes have different shipper rule to vegetable crop tomatoes.
Sorry to hear that the mail program did not work, If you fell like another go at it some day and would like a sounding board, feel free to leave me a note.

No, life was what the ocasional table got up to in the moments when it wasn't being a table, which, is, as the name suggests, only ocasionally.... I don't know what else the ocasional table gets up to; it is concievible that it may spend the rest of its existance being a bowl of cherry tomatos, but I would not like to suggest such a thing without further evidence, or at least without a large bowl of cherry tomatos in front of me to eat

I am going to have to keep a very sharp watch on all the tables in the house..I didn't realise that this was an international issue.

I assume Plumb tomatoes are those grown in high pollution areas and thus have a high concentration of lead in them?

Ictoan,
It was late, okay? I wrote 'plum' the first time but then answered A Dent's posting writing it 'plumb' like he did. HE STARTED IT! And I was tired. And so there.

Sorry, but one of my personality flaws is the inability to pass up a good (or bad if you agreee with blickybadger!) pun!
