Emmily ~ Roses are red, Peas are green, My face is a laugh, But yours is a scream

What can anyone remember about the King-size bars, that have now almost disappeard from the shop's shelves.

Can anyone remember what year they first saw the king-size?

Which was the first?

How much were they, or if you can remember the price difference between standard and king-size.

smiley - cheers

Nah, not the fires, it's 'cos they were all crap so people stopped buying them.

Just about the worst waste of pocket money ever. smiley - grr

I think you'll find they were pretty cool, I remember the one that burst like a worm all over the table was particularly good.

But then I was only about six at the time smiley - laugh

Also, as I recall, they were featured on early versions of watchdog on Nationwide for causing injuries and fires smiley - tongueout

Bah, I must have lived in a particularly fireproof house then. smiley - tongueout

I was a bit older than six, but still optimistic about how good fireworks were. I didn't even cotton onto the difference in size. Outdoors in a huge box, indoors in a tiny pack. smiley - doh

I'm with Derek (is this name change anything to do with the forthcoming anagram season? smiley - winkeye) because *lots* of these things are available in most UK towns.

But big bags of Bluebird toffees aren't smiley - sadface
