The news this evening said "few people even know what the allegations even are".
Surely not?

Now I can't help but be curious - what was written in that moderated post?

Why isn't that allowed? The BBC makes a major point in the disclaimer that they are not responsible for the content of external sites so they couldn't be done for libel. I wonder if any italics can give me an answer on this?

the House Rules about using URLs on h2g2:
"Only include suitable URLs in your contributions. Links to websites we consider unsuitable will be removed, so if you are considering contributing something that contains a URL, please make sure that it adds value and interest to the subject of your entry, and isn't, for example, purely commercial. Unsuitable sites would include those with racist material, pornographic or sexually explicit material, potentially defamatory material.... "
I suggest you use google if you want to find out.

I tried that but didn't find much last night. Found a site dedicated to showing how Charlie boy was the antichrist or something, but that got modded. Probably due to offensive stuff elsewhere on it.

well, I found something, but if the allegations that it alleges (can you allege allegations?) are the actual ones alleged then tis hardly something I'd have thought would bring down the monarchy. Oh well. Nothing that those in power ain't been doing for millenia anyway. Not that it's true anyway. Apparently.

I can't remember exactly what I typed into Google, but I found out easily enough what has been alleged, by whom it was alleged, and about whom it was alleged. If it had taken me more than two minutes I would have given up, I wasn't *that* interested.
If you really want to know, you might start with some foreign news sites. Like CBS. I'm not sure it's worth the effort, though. Perhaps I'm cynical.

Nice try, people.
This is the place to flog a dead horse, but if you want to produce a successful outcome you should report to yahoo.com and join the n2g2 group. There you will be able to reveal your revelations, allege your allegations and use words like *u** or *u** or in the present context *u****. None of those things is, however, compulsory. You can just look at the pretty pictures that are often recommended.

n2g2 is the refugee camp that was established following the Vogon assault on the old h2g2.com and some of the ol' timers are still there welcoming youngsters around to impress with their tall tales.
If you are nervous about looking in, just mention my name and see how they react.
Yep, sp*tting is permitted there.
