news flash. rats DO fart. my littlest one, kanga, has done some mammoth farts (which darrenhas been blamed for until the source was tracked down). she absolutely reeks at times. oddly, it's usually after darrenhas fed her kebab...

Isn't that how dolphins herd into a tight group before eating them, and how killer whales propel themselves onto beaches to snatch seals and low budget sunworshippers?

I don't recall where I heard this, but it seems termite farts account for a measurable proportion of greenhouse gasses. So it seems insects also fart. And quite a lot too. I wonder how they discovered it.

The scientists probably spotted the termites staggering home with a dozen Guinness and a curry and guessed the rest.
