Just remembered Vancouver, Canada has a Gassy Jack Square. Actually named after a settler known for his intestinal problems. smiley - biggrin The core of the city was named Gastown after him as it is today.

If we're allowed Latin names, there's a Roman site near Hexham called Corstopitum. Sounds like a good place for an Ancient Roman Frankie Howerd or Kenneth Williams.

And then there's Cock Bevington in Worcestershire.

In Sussex there's a place called East Grinstead.

Great Snoring and Little Snoring, situated near the north Norfolk coast. Would tell you more, but makes me tired thinking about it. I believe there was an advert once about Great Snoring. Anyone remember it?

On a trip north from Sydney the other day I noticed a suburb called Bobbin Head, and a couple of small towns called Mooney Mooney and Central Mangrove. (These places are quite near Woy Woy.)
