You have to cut-and-paste that link. I'm yet to find out why this happens.

No desktop picture, Windowblinds skin 'Tronnix' modified to have a black translucent taskbar and a new start button. Milkdrop music visualization in background.
(Now lets see if this thing supports 3rd party picture linking.)

For a long time I had precisely one item on my desktop: the Recycle Bin, because I couldn't get rid of it. I did, however, manage to change its name to Deleted Items.
I now have a stack of text documents detailing different jobs I have to do. Once I've done them they'll go into the Deleted Items folder, which will again reign in splended isolation.
I work from the Start Menu, and am curious to know how you managed to rename yours as the Burp menu.

Been a while since I used Windows but I seem to remember I used Tclock2 http://shii.org/tclock/
If you just want to hack the registry and replace the image file a google search will show you many sites that have howtoos.

My desktop is blank, I find its a lot easier having all my frequently used shortcuts in the quicklaunch bar, and keeping the start menu organised.
Have you all seen the Windows Vista yet? It does look very snazzy.
