Sad clowns, because clowns caused me much distress as a child and therefore should be sad! I'm now 20 and still find them a bit scary!

For securing something, depends on the depth of the wood I'm nailing into. For my hands, short - long nails get in the way when I'm typing, or using a phone or calculator.
