2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Feb 16, 2003
Well, there is a kind of solution to that, and I don't think this is really* a bet of any kind
Well, so long as someone notices that we have gone over the 3 Million mark, within about five minutes of it happening, then you can go to the front page, or the stats page, I can't remember which, which will show the five or ten most recent conversations, so it doesn't matter if it is an obscure thread, as it will appear there, and by looking through the threads you should be able to find out where it was; This wouldn't work well, if it isn't noticed that the 3 M post is passed for a longish while, as the conversation in which it was made, will of disappeared off the most recent postings list. Obviously, it will disappear quicker off the list, the more fast people are posting to different threads, if it happens at a quiet time for posting, there will be a longer time period in which to find teh post and the thread it is in. I'm not sure that makes sense

With less than 1300 to go, I am pretty sure that it will be today. I'll have to leave in an hour, so anybody who will be online for the rest of the day could please keep a good look-out for it?
Ignore the grammar of the above. You get the gist of the meaning.

With so few to go, I agree that it would appear that the 3 M post will be today, or, at very least, shortly after middnight
