Waking up without a hangover when you were expecting one.
Dozing in the sunshine
Sitting in a traffic jam only to realise that the person in the car next to you is sing along (badly and loudly) to the same song on the radio
Skipping
Splashing in puddles
Chocolate and Icecream and banana custard
Getting your photos back and finding one that your really like of yourself
Wearing big stupid slippers
Waking up thinking it's monday only to realise it's sunday
Sun Showers
Thunderstorms
Snow
The sea
The sea and the clouds and the sunsets at home
Walking along a busy crowded street getting stressed only to look above the shops and realise you're in the middle of the most amazing old buildings
Finding hidden places
Coming home to a cleaned house which smells of clean laundry
Baking

I love seeing people who are really enthusiastic about something - even if it's something that doesn't interest me personally.

The full moon casting a glittering silver shimmering ribbon over the River Humber, a monthly treat for me.
Rainbows
Peace and quiet
Stroking a purring
Hot chocolate with melting marshmallow topping
Somebody making me a {a very rare treat}
The smell of fresh bread

Watching the light and air change over the ocean as the sun rises or sets.
My tomatos. Yum.
Those moments when I'm in disagreement with someone, and we talk it through and reach understanding of each other's points of view and figure out a way to make the situation work to our mutual benefit.
Riding my bike to and from work every day and looking around me and sniffing the air and realizing that I live in Paradise.
When I want something to happen and have no idea exactly how to do it and I go ahead and just start somewhere in the middle and muddle my way to the edges and it ends up being what I needed it to be.
Knowing that I've finally found the guy I've waited for all these years and that he'll be back with me soon, and that everything will work out just fine.
Making something with words or images or paint, when it manifests itself exactly the way I saw it in my mind.
The moments when I discover what I need to adjust in myself in order to change my environment.

The sky over Port Meadow, or anywhere really where there's a huge sky
Watching my chasing his tail, or doing other dumb things
Noodles
Suddenly realising it's still light at 5pm

Lying in bed all snuggly and warm when it's raining really hard outside.
Having someone you haven't seen in a while pop round, just because.
The smell of washing that's been drying on the line.
That 'just showered' feeling.

That "just got dirty" feeling...
That feel contentment curled up warm a snuggly reading a book in bed...
The feel of electricity in the air when a storm is coming...

I'm usually very in the mornings, more of an evening person myself - but this is something that really gives me pleasure:
Setting the alarm clock on the usual time (6 am) on a Sunday morning, get up, have breakfast, and then go back to my warm bed and sleep some more... ...just because I can!

Looking at a storm from inside a warm house
Waking up looking at my watch, thinking I need to get up and then realising it's a weekend and I don't.
Arriving at the top of a difficult or dangerous rock climb and feeling like you could crush boulders with the adrenalin
Getting a satisfying crossword clue or other puzzle.
translating an English saying or expression into French or vice versa, using it and finding that the other person understands perfectly.
Trying a random meal, snack, chocolate bar in a foreign country and it being really tasty.
Seeing a squirrel or deer in the forest, or a in the tree opposite the bedroom window.
An open fire
Going out at night and it being warm enough to wear a T shirt.
Spring sun on my face.

Any moment of any day when I look around, and am not only aware of the world around me, but am almost painfully glad that I'm alive to see what's going on.

Reading this thread.
Reading this thread and seeing that while most pleasures come from having (or taking) the time to appreciate our senses (tastes, sights, sounds, textures, smells) or experiencing the wonders of nature, there are several that depend upon positive human interactions like laughter, smiles and hugs or the simple appreciation of other small friendly animals and forest critters.
Curiously, all of the pleasures mentioned so far are found in the natural world and not one of them depends upon machines, weapons, advertising, fast food restaurants, loud music, work, drugs or politics. And all are mostly harmless. Perhaps, there is hope.

Sitting out in the garden on a warm, sunny day with a nice drink listening to some Sublime.
Having a drink with my friends.
Standing outside watching a thunderstorm.
Waking up to the sound of rain and wind outside, and knowing that you don't have to get out of your nice warm bed for at least another hour or two.
