Hubby has often told me never to believe anyone who says they'll ring you back. With that in mind I called the company again. It seems that they don't have a customer service department, per se. Customer problems are dealt with by the area representative. The woman I spoke to is going to email the rep about my problem. I have his business card, so I phoned him. Guess what. It went to voicemail. So I still have to wait for someone to call me.

PH from yesterday eve. Went on a Safari supper so experienced several different houses & eating layouts. Candles on the table - pretty but make passing items across hazardous. Also provides no useful illumination.
'Atmospheric' minimal lighting at the final venue when someone shows us a photo album - too dark to really see properly. What's wrong with being able to see what you're doing? We're not snogging teenagers, I much prefer to be able to see clearly (& stay awake...).

I like atmospheric light. Bright light is very annoying.

There's light and there's light. Or in some cases, there isn't any. I have had accomodation in a Swiss nuclear bomb shelter several times. That's as dark as it gets. After some time getting used to it, even the illumination of my watch could hurt my eyes.

Maybe restaurants could provide a dimming light switch on each table? Probably wouldn't work, unless you shield each table from the others.

I was tempted once to fit a flick switch on the brake light to give them a nasty surprise!

You don't have to do that. You can just tap the brakes without really slowing down.

I highly recommend getting dash cams for both the front and rear of your vehicle.

I've been known to get a bit "screamy" when encountering eejits on the road. In this video you will see me ACTUALLY brake check a road rager. (He was making such interesting sign language in my mirror.)

Drivers who think they are Gandalf (You !! shall not !! pass...!!) and accelerate when they (pretend to) make way for you to pass, then get back in front of you and slow down again.

This is why I quit driving (except for 2 or 3 times a year). Hateful business.

Driving is unavoidable for me to get to work.

The moon's alright. Song sucks.

Somehow they turned that video and song (with some changes) into a commercial for Taco Bell in the States a few years ago. Most people were unaware of Rathergood and found the commercial disturbing at best. I don't think it increased sales.

Hard to see white-on-white computer cursors.

Better if they blinked in contrasting colors.

Everything was better in the past. We didn't have that problem with monochrome monitors (no white backgrounds)and before the mouse became a common accessory (the cursor was at the end of the last line).
