IT'S SNOWING!
kasese<a rather confused individual, desperately seeking Harmony> Posted Dec 14, 2002
Being a Canadian, I see more than my share of snow. However, this year has been wierd. 2 weeks ago we had enough to get the snow ploughs excited. They busied themselves past my house all evening long, the next day, it melted. three days later, It was -18C, two days after that it was Plus2c. It is now Dec. 13th and we have FOG> Go figure. My 11 yr. old is very dissapointed as she wants to dust off the cobwebs on her snowboard and is eager to make a snowman. I expect that Christmas will be balmy enough to open the front door. the upside is that my gas bill will be small. K

Hmm, I remember when I last made one, vaguely, but there hasn't been any decent settling snow anywhere I can remember for quite some time

It snowed (about half an hour ago). It was a blizzard. It stuck. It lighteninged (). It stopped. It's sunny. It's all melted.
Four Seasons In One Day. Crowded House sang it - I lived it.

Glorious sunshine here in London - bitterly cold though!
Heard it was snowing in Brussels from one of my contacts there - with all those hills it makes it very trecherous and some communes are better than others at dealing with things like this.
Seems local authorities are the same the world over.

It snowed - made journey to work hazardous, but stopped when I got here 1.5 hours later
It then was nice and sunny until I finished in the gym and had to walk back to work, then we had a blizzard until I walked through reception, at which point the sun came out
I hate weather *grumble*

It's stopped now
Hopefully we'll get some more before the sun melts it...it did stick...we've got a covering of about 1mm and drifts of up to 10mm
I brought my camera into work this morning because they said it would snow.

It seems that some snow has fallen on the South Coast
From where I sit I can see up to road level and it appears to be settling on a car that is in my field of view. Later on today I will be able to leave my basement dungeon (aka the office) and get better perspective on the general weather conditions.

*points out that I'm in Southampton*
It didn't look likely in B'mouth this morning though...the rain only got sleety as I drove east.

The sky turned black in South London and the snow was being shovelled down and settling fast. In the blink of an eyelid skies are blue and all the snow has gone

The sun is out here on the edge of Wales.
What's it like further up North, I need to use the M5 and M6 tomorrow so I'm hoping they'll stay clear.

The snow clouds have gone to be replaced with bright blue skies
The snow has settled on cars and other non conductive surfaces that are in the shade. No evidence that any of it ever settled on the roads and pavements.
Well, that's Brighton's total snowfall for the next 6 years all sorted out this morning
