Clear blue skies and a low raking sun sending it's golden light over the houses, hills and fields I can see from the window. Some small patches of light frost in the shadows still.

RedPeckham,
Yep, I am definitely in China, I spend between 4 to 6 months a year out here. The company I work supplies boilers and associated plant for power stations. We are presently going through the final commissioning/testing stages of a 600MW coal fired beast. Hopefully I will get home for Christmas, my flight is booked for 23rd Dec. However there is still a chance that I might be giving you the weather situation from Liaocheng on 25th Dec.
Today (Sunday) has been bright and dry, but windy and cold. Temperatures reported as being -3 to -6 Deg C.

Still above freezing here in cloudy Vancouver across the pond from you. No rain though.
btw, strictly for my own interest is there a pollution standard in China? Not making any judgements, I just wondered.

The weather here is very icy, there is no wind at all.
There was fog earlier on the fields, but it has all gone now.

14.55, 08/12/03 Manchester, UK. One of the nicest days we've had since I moved here. It is bitterly cold, barely above freezing but beautifully sunny and bright

Cold and foggy. Which is suprising because just a few miles out from the city it was cold and very clear with the just past full moon up and the sun not quite risen over the hills around.

Canberra, Australia - 9:20pm, 10 December.
It was 32 or 33 degrees Celsius today, it's about 25 now. Bone dry, which is unfortunate, as we're still in drought.
