Very dusty sky today, greyish brown, slight wind, about 20C, humidity around 50%.
All windows shut to keep as much of the fine dust out as possible.

Started off, sunny , warm, nice, pleasant , birds singing and everybody happy then rain, cold,, dull, wet, miserable, soggy, more rain, not my usual post but hey ho , there’s always tomorrow

Sunday started off bright, warm and muggy without a breath of air moving. Thermometer said 88F/31C, but the weather station reported a "feels like" reading of 104F/40C. Very oppressive.

At 1115 local, we got a fast moving cold front through that brought squalls, winds at 40 knots from the North, and dropped the temperature to 59F/15C within five minutes. Ouch!

We have had an extremely mild winter, with a very warm February. Old Southerners will say if you borrow the sun in February, you pay it back in March. Here we go...

Well hello!

It's a beautiful sunny morning in London. Hardly a cloud in the sky. No breeze. Feels quite warm in the sun. Current temperature around 12c. Expected high around 15c.

We’ve had high pressure build over the last few days, up to 1038, and have produced cloudy cool weather up until 13.00 hours then the sun has burnt through the low cloud and it has been quite warm, sunny and pleasant out, around 15 to 19 c.
Today saw a change, temp as started to drop by 15.00pm as westerly schemes moved in.

Started off dry with broken cloud, rain started early morning and continued most of the day. We had a thunderstorm around 16.00pm, with some good claps of thunder over head, presently raining, much needed and the first good down pour of 2012

Lansing Michigan is in a prolonged cycle of warm air. It acts more like June than March here right now.

Lansing Michigan 22 March 2012.
Yesterday it reached 87F(30C). This is the first time ever that such a temperature was seen this early in the year.
they say the heat streak will end in a few days and then it will only be about ten degrees (F) above the average for March. The last two weeks have run about 35 degrees(F)(17 degrees celsius) above what it should be.
Other than that the sky is partly cloudy with light winds. A perfect day for July.

Remaining dry overnight with some clear spells at first, but low cloud, mist and fog patches will develop and it is expect to become quite extensive by dawn. Today’s high should be around 11c. Yesterday was sunny from the start, after an overnight frost, it turned out to be quite warm and spring like at times in the long periods of sunshine.

It is currently 49F(9.4C) scattered clouds and light winds.
this is normal for this time of year.
Records for this date -6F(-21C) in 1965 and +78F(25C) in 1989
just less than a week ago we were in the eighties.

Mostly idyllic of late.

The spring west winds that rise to a climax just before the summer solstice and the brief season of the summer doldrums (in those years that have summer doldrums), are beginning to pick up.

Sometime around the solstice the winds will quit, until autumn, and then, over the torrid season, it will merely be extremely hot. (Average daily high 119F/49C, average daily low 90F/32C.)

We're having unusually warm weather for the time of year here in the UK.
The nights are cold though as we have clear skys, But can't moan about that, lets hope this weather carries on through out the summer, doubt it will.
