One of the nore intriguing cases of topic drift I've seen lately.

Why don't anti-gay religious types get so het (nice pun) up about lesbians - I know people like Jerry Fallwell do, but he's not actually human is he? Is it 'the bottom thing' or feeling threatened? Could anyone enlighten me?

It's cos Queen Victoria said lesbianism doesn't exist.
According to some idiot's letter to Savage Love (which should be required reading btw), it is because of the 'bottom thing' and if that were stopped then worldwide acceptance would be on the cards.
Which is an even more illogical stance than usual.

Just reread one of Caleb's posts which states the only unforgivable sin is that of blasphemy. That's a bit mean isn't it? As I tend to take the lord's name in vain at least eight times a day, I'm definately heading for hell. At least I won't bump into Hitler who, though he was responsible for the deaths of some 13 million people, always regarded himself as a good Christian. I'm glad the church has a real sense of perspective.
