I read once (but can't for the live of me think where) that shaving one's legs was introduced into the western world by brits, who learned about it in their arabian/african colonies. Body hair removal (with hot wax, I think) was supposedly practised by "aristocratic natives" to get rid of all those nasty little parasites you can find in the tropics whose endemic playground is hair...
just think about eye brows and eyes lashes growing indefinitly... one would get rid of mascara and just braid pearls into them...

Eyebrows! my favourite subject. Yes all right i have an eyebrow fetish, OK? The bushier the better and monobrows, THEY'RE A GOOD THING! So don't shave 'em fellas, sport 'em with pride! Some people shave between their eyebrows, THIS IS WRONG!

A woman of conviction! Monobrows! I remember hearing about someone with one eyebrow and then nodded when the person added that it went right across both eyes.
Has anyone managed to get them long enough so that you can brush them back to hide baldness? What about growing them round over your ears until they meet at the back. A DA of the eyebrow world.
Can eyebrows be gelled? I've seen people trim patterns into them.

people speak highly of using vasaline to smooth down your eyebrows, don't know if it works though.

The wierdest thing in the world is when blokes shave their legs. I knew one guy who did that but he was a speed cyclist so he had to apparantly. Less wind resistance I suppose. I never did ask where else he had to shave...

Stubble might look sexy but I think it is a turn off for most girls when you get down to hanky panky, as cheerfull dragon said it's too scratchy

is there any truth in the rumour that *some* lads shave their chests to encourage more growth?

Ian The Moose Posted Oct 25, 1999
I suppose it may be true of 'some' blokes but personally I have never felt like experiencing the extremely satisfying feeling of cold steel moving over my chest... filling me with a sense of true masculinity... caressing me almost... mmmm... er... I have to go.

Nobody has mentioned putting cream on your top lip and getting a cat to lick it off - along with any hairs it comes across in the process.
Some Asian girls use thread to pluck their eyebrows. They double the thread, put it up against their eyebrow, twist the thread and then pull it.

Vesto - where do you get your information from? What's this about a cat?
And whats really Yuck about moustaches is when blokes get food/drink/ie froth in taches and then lick it off said tache

We should instead leave it there, preserving decorum by not trying to manipulate one's tongue around the exterior of the lips. . Particles of dried-up food are evidently better than an undetectable presence of saliva from the removal of the former by licking.
Blokes have to have something to do, seeing as we haven't got any bra straps to adjust and get moaned at for rearranging our 'nads, though the two are very similar. Removal of foodstuffs from a beard is a sight easier than replacement of mascara, re-alignment of hair and hitching-up of tights.

I don't agree at all that women only shave their legs when they want to get laid. The part about the bikini lines is true, but IMO that only has to do with a reluctance to shave the parts that nobody's going to see. I myself shave my legs mainly because it wouldn't be "socially acceptable" not to, and I certainly don't do it when nobody's going to see them.

I knew a guy who almost shaved his legs once, just to see what it was like. The only thing that stopped him was, he was planning to put on shorts afterward and his parents would've freaked out.

So when someone has food in the corner of their mouth, they shouldn't lick it off either?
