I got up to 150, and was attacked by the nighthoover s...no one told me about them!?!?!?!??
I shall attempt the feat (larger than any mountain, deeper than any sea) tonight, on the stroke of midnight...

I'm reminded of the Grand Central Station locker scene in Men In Black 2. Our hero K apparently left a watch and a video store membership card with a few hundred little aliens in a train station locker. In the intervening 25 years, the aliens start a religion around these two items; they call the watch "The Light" and the video store card they treat like Moses' tablets. They read off the following commandments (and interpretations) from the video store card:
First Commandment: 2 for 1 Wednesdays..."Give twice as much as ye receive, especially on that most sacred of days, Wednesday."
Second Commandment: Be kind, rewind..."Revisit your past sins and behave with generosity towards others."
Third Commandment: Large adult section in the rear...(the aliens have started a thriving strip joint in the back of the locker)

Ok. I shall now forgo all my film-buff-snobbery and rent that film...

Reminds me of the Cat society in Red Dwarf. Fuji = Fujail, etc.

*Garfield cartoon special.......and the natives chant "chrome, crome, be-bop-a-loo-la....chrome, chrome"......just before they throw Jons' '57 Chevy into the volcano!*
I wonder if the great "Nighthoover" has ever snuck a peak to see what his/her brief visit to our world has caused?
Where are you, Nighthoover? Could you enlighten your followers? Why have you left us to wonder and speculate?

I'm not the Nighthoover,
Nor the Nighthoover's son,
And I won't be Nighthoover,
'Til the Nighthoover comes.

Nighthoover sings
By the moon of the night
Nighthoover comes
In the dark of the light!

Cult? Nah, we're just a fledging religion. In about a 1000 years we'll have unseated Christianity. People will count the years as "Before Nighthoover" and "After Nighthoover." I believe today is the third day of the third month of second year A.H.
Or is it the third year A.H.?
