Why

LW's posts can be a pain in the arse. The 10 successive posts slagging LW are a bigger pain in the arse.

I have a couple of threads with LW and he is okay if you take time to understand him.

Sorry Lil - that wasn't a reply to you, that was a comment. I wish LW would stop being so ridiculously trivial (there's a big difference between irreverance & triviality) but *really* wish the flaming would stop. I've made that quite clear elsewhere.

Don't worry yourself about it. LW needs to take some of the share of the blame for it too.. But honestly, when you get to him a little better, he has a good sense of humour. He just has so little patience at times, or he enjoys watching others bounce about the threads!

I agree. I don't know if you saw this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F2025674?thread=946919 in my journal, but it was the result of people over reacting to a relatively trivial dispute, making it worse, and it got right on my tits.

As I am not subscribed to your threads, I have not read that Journal... however, I have read a number of threads without leaving comments, just observing. I am hoping that he is learning the error of his ways. He does seem to enjoy his conversations with me. I think that all he really wants to do is chat.
