I saw something that said the best place to find someone was at work(over 50% of all couples meet at work)the next best place was the supermarket can't think why but that was what i was told.

The best place to meet a spouse is in church. Which leaves me out to dry, cause I don't attend.

I met my late husband in a bar in the vicinity of U.C.L.A., and his winning "pick-up" line was -- a long conversation about architecture, which was his passion. He was the nicest man I have ever known, and no offense intended to all you gentlemen, but I'm unlikely to ever meet his equal again . And Xanthic, he was skinny! 6'1", and 155 lbs, and average looking. The key was, he was himself when I met him and was never anyone but himself in the 18 years we were together. No false pretenses or pretending to be someone he wasn't, no posturing, just the assumption that I would be interested in an intelligent man. He was SO-O-O right!!

Yes I do mean women, as I have two of them. Just have a look at my space! And they do know what I think of women, which is, when put in one sentence: I admire them and they give me the blues, sometimes .

I don't think two-timing a girl makes you a nice friendly guy, it makes you a bit of a !

There are nice friendly guys out there, they just hide well - often under the guise of sad shy frog or geeky guy. I have specialised in going out with techie nerds, not really on purpose but more by chance. I think it is because they start off quite quiet and it is a bit of a challenge to get them to come out of themselves and by the time you have made all that effort you can't help liking them. Once you get them to stop telling you about servers etc they can turn out to be good boyfriend material.

PS. It is possible to find a nice man even if you are of more ahem... generous proportions.
