I just didn´t have feelings for her, and eventually had too much of a bad conscience for pretending I did.

I think that's a very good reason for not being with someone. Far more honest than most people. Plus you're a young guy so you can't spend your life with the 'wrong' person, faking it. It's also difficult to remember or understand when you're 3 years down the road and haven't met anyone comparable since ...

That said, it's really sad when that final ounce of chemistry is missing. You get along well, you find each other attractive, you have fun together, but you know something is missing. As I get closer to 40 and opportunities get fewer, I'd be inclined to accept nothing is perfect and just work to paper over the cracks ...

Heh, I just saw some photos from a Free Hugs event this weekend. Guess who was one of the free huggers?

They stood in the city square with signs saying "Free hugs" and gave hugs to whoever wanted one.

It's when she's always 'busy', going out with her own friends and not returning your calls you ned to worry.

Isn't it big eats evening today? A little should soon soften and melt the ice. Just make sure you don't stint on the cost and her glass is always ful and not top up yours. Above all don't get Pissed and turn in an octopus that would never do! Beghave like a true gent this early on and she sounds smart enough to appreciate it.

It all went rather well. We had a nice dinner together, she liked my food luckily. She does some nutrition studies, so it could have gone wrong. Then we went to my room, and we talked about different things. There was cuddling involved. A few hours later she took a taxi home, and I gave her a kiss goodbye. She might be inviting me over for a bolivian dinner soon. Roasted guinea pig or whatever that involves.
