For what it's worth I just skipped their cover of 'I'll Stand By You', but I am now listening to their cover of 'Jump'.

Actually, this Girls Aloud thing is a bit of an 80s throwback.
The covers include 'Jump' (Pointer Sisters, 84ish), 'I'll Stand By You' (Pretenders, late 80s) and 'See The Day' (Sam Brown, I think, late 80s).

Ah, it doesn't matter. They have the technology (specifically Antares Autotune. Google it if you don't believe me!) and some damned fine producers.
And there are at least two of them that can sing really rather well. I haven't a clue which two though.

Yes i'm sure they do, have'nt listening to them for long enough, so will take your word on that, two of them can sing at all

I know this is way against everything I stand for but there are some great sounding tunes on this album. As pop music goes it's spot on.
