Welcome to the Black parade by My Chemical romance is #1. I've nearly worn the CD out since i bought it.
It's a bit Queen, a bit Green Day, even a bit Status Quo in places, but it's a great album. Probably i'm so impressed because it's not what i'd normally listen to.

Let's ROCK.
I've listened to some of their earlier stuff, and that doesn't really grab me, but this album is great.
Also bought Kasabian, Muse, The Needles, Kooks, The Automatic, Jarvis's new one.....good music year. Watch out for Air's albums, coming to a PS near you soon

The Needles are a Scottish Indie band. I'm hoping they'll venture down here on tour, cos they'll be easy (and cheap) to see. They sound like early Elvis Costello.....super dooper.

I've got a couple of really weird singles that i've gotten hooked on recently too, but they're Indie too.
Jeremey Warmsley, Baxter Dury, Ripchord.....all worth a listen if you get the chance

When I grow up i want to be,
One of the harvesters of the sea,
I think before my days are done,
They'll call me John the Fisherman.
Quality on a very, very big fishing stick.
