Just watched "Jubilee" film, while I wasn't expecting RADA acting, it was the worst most appaulingly bad acting, Toya Wilcox who I usually like was cringingly bad, the film was embarisingly bad, not even the so bad it was funny sort of thing, just simply the worst film I have ever seen! Not even the music saved it.

Thankyou! I seriously don't like Jubilee, though a lot of my friends do. I wonder if they like it because they think they should...

I'm now watching '? and The Library'
They're trying so hard but I've seen a dozen bands at Glastonbury on little stages that sound *exactly* like this lot.

Cat Stevens and Donovan TV recording of 1970s concerts.
I am watching them as although I loved their music then, despite them both being subject to the usual they are British artists who are the UK version of Dylan tag, I am going to wipe the recordable DVD as need it for Christmas music recordings as try not to go above 100 recordable DVD level due to space.

Just watched "Sid and Nancy" to clear out some more space and although it is better than "Jubilee" I gave up with it after 20 minutes, maybe good punk films are particularly difficult to do without becoming parodies of punk! Strange but although I don't like the Beach Boys I watched a film about them recently and the actors seem to do quite a good job, perhaps the more everyday life setting helped, although it still involved drugs, strange but Sid and Nancy was another poor Punck music film, sadly.

About 2 months ago you say? That would be about the same time I found a copy of Toxicity that a mate left here a year or so back. I whacked it on (for 'Chop Suey') and thought, 'Ooh 'eck, they be mightily good!'
I mentioned it in this 'ere thread but really can't be bothered hunting down the post!
