Until 'Have I Got News For You' started I was listening to Moloko - 'Things To Make And Do'. Top album, shame they split.

Stephen Stills: 'Stephen Stills Live'. The first few tracks (which were 'Side one' on vinyl) are with a band (fantastic drummer, bass player, 'hammond' player), very open and fantastic. The last few tracks ('Side Two' on vinyl) is Stephen Stills with two microphones, his voice and an acoustic. Beautiful, intimate and also fantastic. A superb album that I'd recommend to pretty much everybody.
Unfortunately it's recently been pointed out that this is the third time we've listened to it and it's probably someone else's turn to pick the tunes.

Frank Zappa - a live DVD 'Does Humour Belong In Music'. It's really rather good. Recorded in 1984.

~ "here we go..." Jive Picnic, by San Francisco quartet Junk - and now the moodier/more sedate-though incorporating some funk elements-Win Some Lose Some...a CD I bought right off the stage at our local jazz festival about 5 or 6 years ago.
