FGTH - 'Warriors Of The Wasteland'. Not their finest moment but still rather listenable, in a 'spot the 80s synthesizer' way. I think I've spotted a DX7 and a D50 but I might just be picking the obvious ones.
Ooh lordy, that's right ed up innit!

Maybe he recorded a solo version of it as well? I dunno, are there any Jam fans out there?
Today, I was talking to a colleague about Bruce Foxton (formerly of The Jam, who then spent a significant amount of time in SLF). Apparently, SLF's oiginal guitarist has returned to the fold, and so Bruce has decided to set up with Rick Buckler to form, of all things, a Jam tribute band.
Surely tribute bands are formed by (undoubtedly talented) fans of the original band? Not the actual band themselves?
Should they call themselves "The Ja" or "The Am"?

Surely with two thirds of the original line-up they would have reasonable grounds for calling themselves "The Jam". There are plenty of bands still doing the rounds with only one (or even less) original member...
Or what about "Bruce 'n' Rick's Legendary Jam Show"?

You'd think so wouldn't you? I'm not sure about the original breakup of The Jam, was it all acrimonious and lawyer-infected and "use of the name by former band members is strictly prohibited"-type deal?

So, really, they should just call themselves The Jam.
Hey, you'll never guess what sparked the conversation off in the first place?
